Learning Process

Based on Academic Business Process, Curriculum Quality Item and Learning Process, Arabic Language Education has implemented Competency-Based Curriculum (KBK) since 2010. In 2015 Arabic Language Education Program had adjusted the curriculum based on KKNI and National Standard of Higher Education (SNPT) 2014 to Curriculum of Higher Education (KPT) that focus on the optimization of learning process and information system development through the activity to improve students’ competitiveness, such as; the improvement of practical skills quality, the improvement of soft skills quality, the improvement of learning effectiveness through Student Centered Learning (SCL) model, and the efficiency of final task preparation, in order to make the graduates of Arabic Language Education Program have the competitiveness in real life.

Learning achievement of Arabic Language Education Program Faculty of Language Education UMY refers to the learning achievement of DIKTI and the superiority of Arabic Language Education Program based on 4 main items from KKNI and SNPT 2014 there are Behavior, Knowledge Mastery, General Skills, and Specific Skills.
